【Product Overview】
LEX9 is a high-powered multi LED light system from SciMedia where two different LED units can be installed inside. The LED units use high-output visible to near-infrared chips, and various wavelengths can be selected to match fluorescent probes. One or two wavelengths can be turned on/off manually, or alternately turned on in frame synchronization with a high-speed camera system. For research use only (RUO).
【Key Features】
(1) Higher power: more than 4.3× a 150W halogen lamp and 1.8× our old LED system, improving S/N ratios;
(2) Highly stable: minimizes unnecessary noise in biological signal imaging;
(3) Dual wavelength excitation: two wavelengths acquired with one camera;
(4) Fast switching: for high-speed imaging and pulsed light stimulation;
(5) Wide area illumination and expandability for various fluorescent probes.
【Typical Applications】
Excitation light source for fluorescence imaging; GCaMP imaging (hemodynamic correction with 405nm/460nm); calcium imaging; voltage sensitive dye imaging; intrinsic optical signal (IOS) imaging; light stimulation for optogenetics (ChR2, NpHR, Arch, Chrimson).
