Overview

Optical Mapping Technology is an innovative optical mapping technology that uses Voltage Sensitive Dye (VSD) and ultra-high-speed, high-resolution cameras to record the membrane potential activities of cell populations. It can non-invasively record changes in the membrane potential of myocardial cell groups, measure the conduction characteristics of potential activities between cells, and makes it possible to study electrophysiological activities such as smaller cells, slender nerve processes, and arrhythmias. Moreover, it can record the electrical activity of the entire heart and convert it into cellular action potentials as well as color image displays such as isochronal maps, isopotential maps, and action potential conduction velocity maps.

Description

SciMedia's Exclusive Technology

★ Ultra-high temporal resolution of 0.05ms (20,000fps): providing sufficient resolution for recording and analyzing physiological phenomena of cells in organs, tissues, and other groups;

★ Dual-channel synchronous recording of membrane potential signals and ion signals at a speed of up to 16,666fps;

★ High-speed camera designed and produced for optical mapping, with a large pixel size and a full-well capacity of up to 3,000,000 electrons, achieving higher sensitivity and a larger dynamic range;

★ High-speed recording of experimental data, with continuous high-speed signal recording time reaching the hour level;

★ System optical path rotation device, enabling signal recording at various angles from vertical (heart平放) to horizontal (heart悬垂);

★ A single controller can synchronously control up to 4 high-speed cameras for panoramic optical mapping experiments;

★ The system can be configured with 6 high-speed cameras for synchronous signal recording.
