Overview
Plane mirror refers to the mirror whose reflecting surface is plane, which is called plane mirror.
The reflecting surface can be a front surface or a rear surface. For mirrors used in important technology, most of the reflecting surface is the front surface. In optics, the plane mirror is the only optical element that can form a faithful image. It does not change the concentric nature of the beam. After being reflected by the plane mirror, the divergent concentric beam is still a divergent concentric beam, and the convergent concentric beam is still a convergent concentric beam.
