Terahertz Raman

1. Overview

THz-Raman Transmission Sampling Accessory for the TR-Probe platform enables transmission Raman measurements, extending Raman analysis down to the 10-2000 cm-1 low-frequency region. Transmission Raman is a multiple-scattering process that provides volume-averaged sampling, ideal when tablet coatings or surface materials interfere with backscatter signals.

2. Key Specifications

Compatible excitation: 532nm, 633nm, 785nm, 850nm, 976nm, 1064nm; sample chamber with pill/tablet holders and standard HPLC vials; fiber-coupled CleanLine laser source from TR-PROBE module; switchable transmission/backscatter modes on the same sample; universal dovetail mount; laser interlock with override capability.
