Overview
Quantum cascade laser (QCL) is from mid infrared (4um-12 μ m) An intersubband semiconductor exciter emitting to the central wavelength of the terahertz domain. QCLs proposed by mirsense are mid infrared devices that operate dynamically in pulse or continuous wave at room temperature. They can be multimode (Fabry Perot) or single-mode (distributed feedback or DFB) laser sources.
QCL from mirsense is optimized through detailed simulation based on reliable and repeatable technical process. They provide very high performance, usually hundreds of milliwatts in continuous wave operation and tens of watts of peak power in pulse mode. In addition, they present high-quality beam profiles with low m2 in both directions.
